He usually takes a pen and draws lines going in no specific direction. By the time the pen has completed its work, most of the times something unreal, diabolic, sensual or all of these together is fix on the paper.
"Dark Fantasy Art is something I always felt attracted to. I emphasize "Dark" because for some reason I can't explain, demons; monsters and dark creatures seems much more interesting to me than unicorns, fairies, and that sort of creatures that mostly belong to the "light" Fantasy Art, the theme that is very commercial and you find it everywhere. Women also have a special place on my paints. But you won't see defend less women-grabbing-the-leg-of-the-hero type in my artwork. I like them powerful, self-sufficient and menacing. That's the type of characters you can expect from me.
About 90 percent of my artwork has been made between 2002 and 2005. Through these years I feel my technique has become sharper with every paint I finished.
Thanks to all of you that took the time to write an e-mail to me. I really appreciate it. 12/05 |
