The last full color image I have done. For some reason I wanted to do a tree entity and this is the result. A sort of woman-demon-tree creature awakening at night surrounded by yellow energy. Also an artwork for Marc Savaria who's writing a very interesting book about archangels. Click it for more details.

I have been a bit lazy during the past months regarding my art but I think that is over. Here are three new black and white images.
I love those weird armors that looks like if it has its own life, like it's trying to expand thru the characters body. It can take any shape or form and the texture is never the same. If you look around you will notice I have use it many times.

New images added to the galleries

These were made on February but I took a month (March) withouth painting anything or updating my website at all. I just wanted a little rest. Anyway, I'll tell you a bit about these images, I needed to have some paintings in my apartment walls so I decided to do paintings that still look related to fantasy in some term but at the same time are images that could be hung in a dinner or living area withouth beeing to aggresive or extreme. I think is a good balance. Take care now.

Has been a while but here you have the first illustrations made on 2006. On the left is "Nature Call", is the before, and on the right "Wild Call", is the after. The first two were commissioned painting for the comic book "Tales of Midnight" the third one is an image for a 2006 peruvian Calendar themed "Peruvian Myths". I still need to update my bio. I will do it this month for sure. Thanks and take care.

Today I've changed this front page. Now you will see the news and gallery updates in this column. I believe it will make it easier for the visitor when to check for new artwork or any important changes. The gallery has two sections now.
Section 1 is the Dark Legends gallery.
Section 2 is the Stefano Mendoza gallery where you can find non related Fantasy artwork such as: comics, portraits, photos and traditional and digital nudes. I hope you will like this new presentation as much as I do please contact if you have any question and/or critics about my art. My doors are always open.
